Audubon Ranks Formosa’s Bird Count in Fourth Place

Formosa Plastics opened its off-site properties and hosted its 10th Audubon Christmas Bird Count in December 2025 and recorded 192 diverse bird species. In 2024, birders recorded 193 species, ranking the Jackson-Calhoun count fourth in Texas and seventh in the United States out of 2,036 counts nationwide.
